The Art of Being Church in Europe
The theme of the gathering is «The Art of Being Church in Europe.» Here, we have much to learn from our European partner churches. The goal of the conference is for us to be inspired to pray and work for God’s kingdom, whether it’s in partner churches across Europe or in our local congregation. This time, it’s primarily the work of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Estonia from which we aim to learn.
Among others, we will meet NMS missionaries Ave and Magne Mølster, Archbishop Urmas Viilma, and church planter Tiina Klement.
This meeting is not just an opportunity to explore the challenges and opportunities faced by the church in Europe, but also a chance for fellowship, learning, and mutual encouragement. We hope you bring along others from your congregation and join us for these meaningful days in the picturesque and historic city of Tallinn. The conference will be in English, and participants must be over 18 years old.

April 11th, Thursday: Tallinn
– Arrival
– 3:00 PM Sightseeing in the beautiful city of Tallinn.
– Visit with the Dean of Tallinn, focusing on the revitalization of traditional churches.
– Dinner with the Archbishop.
– Introduction to Estonia and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Estonia by the Archbishop.
April 12th, Friday: Mustamäe Church
– Tiina Klement discusses church planting in Mustamäe.
– A series of insightful sessions and discussions about the mission in Estonia.
– Visit local parishes and others that work with diaconia/conviviality.
April 13th, Saturday: Saku Church
– Magne Mølster discusses church planting in Saku.
– Continued discussions and workshops about being the church in Europe.
– A concluding session with reflection and prayer.
April 14th, Sunday:
– Sunday service at 11:00 AM in Saku or 3:00 PM in Mustamäe
– Departure.
Conference Fee, Transport, and Meals:
– Includes dinner on Thursday, a warm lunch, and coffee on Friday and Saturday: €70.
– Bus transport on Friday and Saturday: €30
– Dinner on Friday and Saturday, lunch on Sunday, and transport on Thursday and Sunday are not included in this fee.

– You can choose accommodation according to your preference. We have a reservation for 30 rooms at Metropol Hotel (including breakfast) which you are welcome to book upon registration (see below):
