God Jul: The most beautiful time of the year!

In Norway, Christmas is one of the most expected celebrations of the year. People get ready, decorate their homes and get the traditions going. One of the most common traditions is the advent calendar, with an activity for each day until Christmas. Therefore, we made our own Julekalender, with a retrospective of everything we have done until Christmas! After all, we lived Christmas as pictured in the movies, the famous “White Christmas”: snow, decorated house, fireplace on and a table full of delicious food. We are so thankful for everyone that was a part of our Christmas month and we remember that, more than traditions and presents, Christmas is about Jesus! He came, He lives, and by His grace we have salvation in perfect love!

Na Noruega, o natal é uma das datas mais esperadas do ano. Pessoas se preparam, preparam suas casas e também iniciam suas tradições. Uma das tradições mais conhecidas é o calendário de advento, com uma atividade pra cada dia do advento, até o natal chegar. Por isso, fizemos o nosso Julekalender, com uma retrospectiva de tudo que fizemos até a chegada do Natal! Afinal, tivemos um natal de filme, o famoso “White Christmas”: neve, casa decorada, lareira acesa e uma mesa repleta de boas comidas. Agradecemos a todos que fizeram parte do nosso mês de natal e lembramos que mais do que sobre tradições e presentes, natal é sobre Jesus! Ele veio, ele vive, e pela graça ele nos salva em perfeito amor!
